Samsung’s appeal for a stay against an injunction barring the sale of their Galaxy Tab 10.1 device has been denied by a US appeals court.
The U.S. Court of Appeals also denied a motion to expedite their appeal against the judgement given by Judge Lucy Koh last month, saying that “Samsung may of course significantly self-expedite the case by filing its own brief early.”
Apple was granted a preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 in an ongoing patent dispute because “…the hardship to Apple of having to directly compete with Samsung’s infringing products outweighs Samsung’s harm in light of the previous findings by the Court.”
