Another day, another round of litigation on the Apple/Samsung front. The most recent development is the lifting of a ban on sales of the Galaxy Nexus handset in the States thanks to a federal appeals court ruling.
The banned ban is only temporary however and Apple has until 12 July to submit papers to the federal appeals court showing why the injunction against the Galaxy Nexus handsets should remain in place while Samsung pursues its appeal. The same appeals court opted not to overturn the Galaxy Tab ruling, even temporarily.
Less than 24 hours after the Galaxy Nexus ban was suspended, Google had the Galaxy Nexus back up for sale on the Google Play store. The company had stopped offering it for sale when the original injunction from Judge Lucy Koh was handed down.
