Gamescom officially starts today, though a lot of the big news appeared during the various press conferences which took place yesterday. The European gaming expo is typically filled with visual awesomeness so Stuff has decided to collect some of the best footage of the event in one place for you.

Batman: Arkham Origins

The prequel to smash hit titles Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins takes place very early in the Dark Knight’s career. The new Gamescom footage revealed the Firefly and gives more than a few hints about what we can expect from the upcoming title. The world’s greatest detective doesn’t need those hints explained.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Shown during EA’s press conference, the below Dragon Age: Inquisition is more a developer diary than just a footage reveal but fans will get a look at in-game visuals, artwork and have the devs explain what it is you’re looking at.

Titanfall

Respawn Entertainment have showed off some gameplay footage from upcoming futuristic shooter Titanfall. The emphasis seems to be on fast gameplay with large elements of rapid vertical movement in evidence. For those who play multiplayer shooters, Titanfall could change things for good.

Watch_Dogs

Watch_Dogs from Ubisoft has revealed DedSec, a hacker faction that will be present in the upcoming action title. They don’t appear to be aligned with the game’s protagonist, Aidan Pearce, but they definitely have a large role to play.
